Station Casinos thanks active and veteran armed services with new Military Mondays Initiative

$10,000 donation to be made benefiting Las Vegas’ first Fisher House

LAS VEGAS (April 30, 2014) – Station Casinos is increasing its efforts to honor all active and veteran military by introducing “Military Mondays,” a community initiative to provide gratitude along with special discounts and events for those who have proudly served our country.  Military Mondays will kick off on Monday, May 5 and is open to all divisions of the armed services, including Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard and the National Guard, whether active, retired or veteran.

The program will kick off with a new television and newspaper ad campaign featuring several of Station Casinos’ very own military team members who assisted in developing the new program.

Military Mondays will feature an exclusively-designed commemorative Boarding Pass card that will be available in all levels and demarcated with a U.S. flag and gold ribbon. Beginning Monday, May 5, guests may pick up a new card by presenting a valid military ID and current Boarding Pass card to any Station Casinos or Fiesta Rewards Center and will be permanently registered within the Station Casinos Boarding Pass system as military. Once registered, qualified guests will receive a variety of benefits including dining, hotel, food and beverage, gaming, bowling and Kid’s Quest discounts, as well as Budweiser-sponsored specials. Additional benefits will be added throughout the year.

On Memorial Day, May 26, Station Casinos will host a free $5,000 slot tournament open to all Boarding Pass card holders, military and non-military alike. For every Boarding Pass member who participates in the tournament, Station Casinos will pledge  $1, up to $10,000 to the Nevada Military Support Alliance, a non-profit organization that  provides financial assistance to families of Nevada military personnel. 100-percent of the donation will go towards the construction of the recently announced Las Vegas Fisher House that will be located at the Southern Nevada Veterans Administration Medical Center.

Each Boarding Pass member redeeming the first free entry into the slot tournament will also receive a complimentary ribbon pin to support our troops, with the choice of a yellow ribbon to honor fallen soldiers or a red, white and blue ribbon for patriotism.

Fifty slot tournament winners are guaranteed at each Station Casinos and Fiesta property, with the top prize of $2,000. Guests may earn up to two additional entries into the tournament for 50 points each.

Both Military Mondays and the free slot tournament are available to guests at the following nine properties: Boulder Station, Fiesta Henderson, Fiesta Rancho, Green Valley Ranch Resort, Palace Station, Red Rock Resort, Santa Fe Station, Sunset Station and Texas Station. Full promotional details are available at www.sclv.com or at any Rewards Center.

About Nevada Military Support Alliance and Fisher House
